This was our first investigation for Old House Life - Michelle Bowers... The main house was built in 1790 for Vincent Allen, son of Captain Charles Allen of Warren County. Charles Allen was a Captain in the War of the American Revolution under General Washington. Vincent married Mary Bowdoin about the time the house was built. Mary was a direct descendant of President Thomas Jefferson’s Grandfather.
